I Lol'led really hard about this.
Indeed, what can happen in 3 seconds?? 10 seconds was a bit too long, but
7 was IMO viable. now 3 seconds...

Pssssh, silly people.
It's a known fact that assassins are the most versatile class in the game, I mean, just look at the many playstyles they entail!
Seriously... You can gank, or you can gank, or you might want to try ganking... if you're feeling adventurous, 'sins also let you gank too!

well, all this just shows that assassins can only exist in two states: overpowered, or mostly useless. that's what happens when an entire profession is based around the concept of a teleporting deepwound+spike.

A spike.

Wrong - It doesn't cause exhaustion thus it gives more room for crit strikes bonus (it's important unless you wanna spike only every 30s) + it's a hex so it can be used with skills that require hex to hit. Shock causes KD - it stops non caster stuff too . About whining about assassns being omgwtfpwned by the update. Go play AoD , it's actually an assassin build that requires more than 1,2,3,4,5,6 to raise it's full potential . If you think it sucks, pls don't post in this topic anymore.

AoD pretty much requires 12345 as well, the only caveat being that you have to double click when you're done.
And AoD is pretty damn viable. Run Whirling Charge with it and go pew pew!

My Sin is completely unnafected this time, but i suppose they will probably get me next time.
Also sins were a bit too versatile, i know for example that they can be made to shut down and kill anything in the game in seconds, with 1 or 2 skill changes.
Noticed this when scrimming one of my guildies, who has had just sin since factions came out. No Build that you choose cannot be undone by the correct sin build. They have everything.
So before complaining about recent nerfs, think the majority of the community who dont play sins, will be happy, which might just be more than 50% of the GW community.

Hehehe when I read "Shutdown in a matter of seconds" I thought I was in the mes forum.....
Assassins are still fine in the metagame, it's just the fact that they have to rely more on different combo-chains than the hex-based ones....

But it's too hard to even think of it, it's easier to whine on forums, ain't it?

you mean on march 6th?
pfft.
Izzy should've tried some new crap, other than Wail of Doom which was interesting.
Shroud could've been a skill that functions on a interrupted spell
